Our optional trip insurance is not required to be covered by our Flexible Cancellation Policy!
We strongly advise guests to consider purchasing travel insurance during the checkout process — you will be presented with various options.
We recognize our contractual obligation to remit rental payments to our property owners for any reserved time at their properties. Therefore, we highly recommend that you protect your trip. In collaboration with RentalGuardian and InsureStays, we offer two options to ensure the protection of our owners and guests.
During checkout, you will be provided with the following insurance options:
This insurance fully reimburses the cost of the booking if a covered event occurs that forces you to cancel your trip, such as hospitalization. Traditional travel insurance is available for citizens of almost any country.
CFAR insurance provides coverage if you decide to cancel your trip for any reason, even if it is not covered under the traditional policy. However, it will only pay out 60% of the costs if you do not have a covered reason. Currently, CFAR insurance is only available for U.S. citizens.
We highly recommend reviewing these policies and selecting the one that best suits your family's coverage needs based on your comfort level.
